Hello friends! The funny thing is I decided to start a blog when I am in no way shape or form a writer. I have a math-oriented mind. I constantly struggle in English classes. Somehow, I always mess up the words when reading novels. Most of the time it’s no big deal, but on occasion I end up reading a tragedy when it was supposed to have a happy ending.

I read over these posts about twenty times to make sure I make some sort of sense. Then, my boyfriend, Garrett, reads it over. Even after editing it myself, he can still find more errors! My brain just reads what it wants instead of what’s written.

It’s crazy that some of things we enjoy most are not necessarily our strengths. I have quite a lengthy list – but here are a few: writing, intramural basketball, waking up early and singing. If you are not great at something, you only have room for improvement (Except for my singing – I’m tone deaf; it would take a miracle!). To improve, you just need to do it better than before; it doesn’t have to be great! Maybe in a month or two I’ll only have to proof read my posts 15x.

What is something you want to improve on?

“For I am about to do something new. See, I have already begun! Do you not see it? I will make a pathway through the wilderness.I will create rivers in the dry wasteland.” Isaiah 43:19

I found these pieces while shopping at J. Crew in Destin on Spring Break. I was so excited when I put on these pants. They fit! I usually have all sorts of probelms: they’re too long, too wide on the waist OR the front looks great but when I turn around I can fit two fists in the back. Now the tunic, Garrett picked out and told me to go try it on. And what do ya know, it was a winner!

Finally, my shoes. I am all about being comfortable! These shoes have a foam footbed – in other words, they are the epitome of comfort. You can wear them all day & your feet don’t feel a thing!

Thanks for reading!
